Inventory.

Buy yourself a little classic sailing yacht. Substantially restored over the past few years, Mariposa is now in good sailing condition and requires a new owner to continue the work.

  • Hull: Mahogany on rock-elm frames. Cast iron keel, bronze keelbolts.
  • Deck and cabin top: Yellow pine. Treated with Coelan and leaktight!
  • Cabin sides, cockpit and toerail: All mahogany and looking good under several coats of varnish.
  • Engine: Rebuilt Stuart Turner 4.5hp single cylinder 2-stroke. Runs very well!
  • New st/st 2 gal fuel tank 2009.
  • Mast: Approx 14 years old. Hollow tapered box section, spruce. Painted white. Mounted in substantial wooden tabernacle.
  • Boom: Original. Varnished. Fitted with bronze Turner ratchet reefing gear.
  • Rigging: All st/st. Forestay, backstay and upper shrouds replaced over past 7 years. Bumpkin renewed in Douglas Fir 2007.
  • Bronze bobstay fitting added for future cutter conversion (bowsprit included).
  • New halyards in synthetic hemp 2009.
  • Sails: New mainsail 2009. Old mainsail. Four hank-on headsails of varying sizes, all good to fair condition.
  • Tufnol lever action sheet winches.
  • Anchors: CQR main and Fisherman kedge, both with adequate chain and warp.
  • Bilge pumps: One manual and one auto (2007 battery included).
  • New varnished hatch and slides 2007.
  • New berth cushions and cockpit cushions 2007.
  • Plenty fenders and warps.
  • Boathook and whisker pole.
