Stern *
New bumpkin and stays. Bronze prop is the original Stuart Turner and is in excellent condition. I keep it highly polished to deter marine growth. The bronze propshaft was replaced with st/st in 2007.
The hole below her nameplate is the engine exhaust. Viewed: 290 times.

Launched in April the paint film is still unbroken and it's nearly October. Viewed: 301 times.

Port profile *
Hasn't Mariposa got beautiful lines? The three bladed prop is bronze and still 'rings' when tapped gently with a hammer indicating little dezincification. The rubber insert for the cutless bearing was replaced in 2007.

Note the bobstay fitting. *
The bronze bobstay fitting was thru-bolted as part of the stem scarf repair. This will be needed is Mariposa is ever converted to cutter rig. The bowsprit is made and ready to be fitted.
